Looking to challenge yourself even further this year? Try one of these on your own or with a friend. Feel free to join any of the groups if you're interested, you won't regret it.

A Book A Week - Challenge yourself to read 52 books in 52 weeks.  Or set yourself your own number to hit on Goodreads.

Big Fat Books - Challenge yourself to read longer books at least 460 pages or more.

The Classics Club - Challenge yourself to read at least 50 classics in five years - or join the Back to the Classics Challenge and read 12 classics this year!

The Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge - Read like Rory Gilmore.

Can-Lit Challenge - Challenge your self to read more great Canadian literature. This is a fantastic list and one that I hope to challenge myself to get through some time soon.

Shakespeare Challenge - Challenge yourself to read all of Shakepeares works.

Author Challenge - got a favourite author (or two, or three)? Why not challenge yourself to read their entire canon? I've got a few in mind myself - John Steinbeck, Margaret Atwood, Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, just to name a few. Or how about trying out authors that might be new to you, like Stephen King?

TBR Pile Challenge - Got an out-of-control TBR pile? Challenge yourself to get through the pile before adding anything new to it.

Top 100 Books List Challenge - Challenge yourself to read all the books listed on a "Top 100 Books" list of your choice, either the NY Times List, the BBC's Big Read List, or Time Magazine's list - any other Top 100 List of your choice could work too, it's totally up to you!

Have a challenge of your own you'd like to share? I'd love to hear about it!
